Many stars, at the ceremony of the Oscars of the sport in Monaco.

Tennis legend Boris Becker (51), our former ski queen Maria Höfl-Riesch (34) and ex-Formula 1 world champion Nico Rosberg (33) celebrate in the Sporting in Monte Carlo.
Rosberg also presents the first Laureus Award: The team of the year is Football World Champion France.
Coach Didier Deschamps (50) receives the award from Rosberg and Portugal legend Luis Figo (46). His acceptance speech is translated by Rosberg into English.

Then it gets really emotional: Ski superstar Lindsey Vonn (34) gets the "Spirit of Sport Award" just a few days after her career's end - and tears flow with the American. In her white long dress, she is the eye-catcher of the evening and reveals that she will soon be seen as a film producer.

The comeback award went to her ex-boyfriend, golf pro Tiger Woods (43) - but he only greeted by video message.
