Carrefour Monaco employees on strike this Saturday over a bonus they are being denied

Still dissatisfied with the proposals made by the French management of the Carrefour group, employees of the Fontvieille hypermarket went on strike this Saturday at 9 a.m. At the heart of their demands: a bonus they are being excluded from.

"We... too... want... the... bonus!" Megaphones in hand, union representatives led the protest this Saturday morning in front of the Carrefour Monaco entrance. While customers were out doing their Easter weekend shopping, several dozen employees gathered at the entrance of the Fontvieille shopping center to voice their anger, accompanied by shrill whistles.

Between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., the strikers took turns making their demands heard. This was the culmination of several surprise walkouts in recent days. According to union representatives, nearly 90% of employees, or about 180 employees, participated in the movement.
