It’s set to be an exceptional edition:
the Monte-Carlo Television Festival celebrates its 65th anniversary with Michel Drucker, Kristin Scott Thomas, Ester Exposito… and a younger fan base
From Friday to Tuesday, the world of TV series will intersect with those of cinema and digital productions at the Grimaldi Forum, the centre of an event that strives to defy its age by opening up to all audiences and all screens.
Monte-Carlo Television Festival. Take 65! Action! This Friday evening, the blue carpet will be rolled out for the stars of your screens on the forecourt of the Grimaldi Forum. The camera flashes will be followed by the honours of the Crystal Nymph for the legend of the small screen, Michel Drucker, and a leading figure of the silver screen, Kristin Scott Thomas. And as a festival cannot span the ages without building bridges, this will be followed by a nod to the future of the profession with the presentation of the Nymphs for Most Promising Newcomer to Spanish actress Ester Exposito and British actor Matthew Broome.
