These two yachts, built for exploration, will be on display at the 2026 Monaco Yacht Show

The shipbuilder Oceanco, owned by video game pioneer Gabe Newell, will present two vessels at the Monaco Yacht Show that have been fitted out to support scientific expeditions at sea.

Two very large vessels are set to be among the highlights of the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show, taking place from 23 to 26 September. The Dutch shipbuilder Oceanco will be showcasing the Leviathan, a 111-metre yacht delivered in November 2025, and the 93-metre Draak, which has just completed a full refurbishment.

Both vessels are owned by Gabe Newell, founder of the video game development and distribution studio Valve. These two yachts form part of the Inkfish fleet, which is dedicated to supporting scientific expeditions.
