Jean d’Haussonville announces his departure during the 14 July celebrations

Gathered on Tuesday 14 July at the Monaco Yacht Club to celebrate France’s National Day, guests of the French Embassy were informed of the imminent departure of Jean d’Haussonville, who has been posted to the Principality since 2023. The diplomat also mentioned the forthcoming visit of the President of the Italian Republic to Monaco.

It was a visibly moved Jean d’Haussonville who delivered his final 14 July speech on Tuesday as French Ambassador to Monaco. In the presence of Prince Albert II, the Monegasque authorities and the French community gathered at the Monaco Yacht Club, the diplomat bid farewell to the Principality after three years in post.
