told in a comic book by Glénat
Nearly 30 years after the last comic book dealing with the history of the Principality, Glénat is attempting the exercise through the Grimaldi dynasty. In a short format, with the help of the Prince's Palace.
Summarizing centuries of history in 54 pages is no small feat. This is the challenge that illustrator Cédric Fernandez and scriptwriter Arnaud Delalande took on. Together, the pair worked on the history of the Grimaldi family in comic book form.
"The Grimaldi epic." Published by Glénat. Two years of labor will result on June 25th in an album that will make the founder of Glénat, Jacques Glénat, proud. "It's a beautiful story, and we're here to tell stories. We enjoyed doing it."
Glénat Publishing is continuing its close collaboration with the Principality, having previously worked on works with the Oceanographic Museum. "We also published a comic book about Albert I. The idea came naturally to continue the collection with another album."
