Monaco's Christmas Village will be open until January 4
The Princely Couple and their children inaugurated the Christmas Village on Friday afternoon, December 5. Nearly a month of festivities is underway on the Quai Albert-Ier, featuring food stalls, an ice rink, and rides.
The end-of-year celebrations can officially begin. Following the lighting ceremony last week, the Christmas Village was launched this Friday evening by the Princely Family.
Gathered at the foot of the Ferris wheel, Prince Albert II, Princess Charlene, and their children, Jacques and Gabriella, inaugurated the area, which this year has a teddy bear theme. "I don't know why we didn't think of it sooner," joked Mayor Georges Marsan. "The opening of this village truly marks the start of the holiday season. People are really looking forward to it."
The Christmas village will be open daily from 11:00 AM to 10:30 PM (11:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays). It will close on Sunday, January 4th.
