“Raising awareness of the Council of Europe’s role among the Monegasque public”: the diplomatic community’s ambitions as it begins its six-month chairmanship
Monaco’s start to its presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe should enable Monegasque diplomacy to explain its work and role within the international organisation.
From the official handover in Chisinau, to the handover ceremony in Strasbourg, and back to Monaco, it has been a busy week for Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Government Adviser and Minister for External Relations and Cooperation, who represents the Principality as Chair of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe until November.
A presidency that she intends to be “action-oriented, fully rooted in the realities facing Europe”, she reiterated on Friday before the Monegasque press.
