Prince Albert announces the end of face masks in Monaco on Saturday

It will no longer be necessary to cover one's face from Saturday in the Principality, with the exception of a few strategic and frequented points in the country.
Following France's lead, the monarch announced on Thursday evening in an official press release that wearing a mask outdoors will no longer be compulsory in the Principality from 19 June.

The sovereign took this decision "despite the increase in the incidence and positivity rates observed over the last 10 days.

However, the night-time curfew remains in place for the time being.
