Awarded second best destination in Europe

The European Best Destinations website has just unveiled its rankings for 2024: Monaco is in second place behind Marbella in Spain and ahead of Malta.

More than a million travellers from 172 countries were consulted in a vote to establish the top three among 500 destinations in the antipodes.

Staying in Monaco means choosing an exceptional destination where everyone can enjoy unique and memorable experiences," reads the website. Gastronomic delights, cultural and sporting events, exceptional nightlife, shopping experiences, wellness spas...the most eclectic dreams come true in these two square kilometres."

Among the many attractions are the Oceanographic Museum, the Princely Palace, the Port Hercule, the Place d'Armes with its local specialities and its more popular dimension, the Monte Carlo Casino, the Larvotto beach and the tête de Chien for a breathtaking panorama of three countries at a glance.
