The Prince’s Carabiniers launch their recruitment campaign for 2027

In Monaco, the Prince’s Carabiniers are seeking new comrades-in-arms to protect the Princely Family and, more broadly, to help promote the Principality’s reputation.
A prestigious uniform and a role that many dream of, within an institution established by Sovereign Ordinance nearly 200 years ago.

The Prince’s Carabiniers have announced on their social media channels the launch of their recruitment campaign for 2027. It is seeking candidates “driven by a sense of duty, a spirit of service and a commitment to excellence”.

“Whether you are a member of the armed forces, a security professional, an athlete or a musician, every background is an asset when put at the service of a single mission: to protect the princely family and contribute to the Principality’s reputation,” the institution continues.

Eligibility criteria

To apply, candidates must meet certain criteria: they must be a French or Monegasque national, be aged between 19 and 27 inclusive on the date of enlistment, be single, be between 1.80 m and 2 m tall, have a clean criminal record, have no visible tattoos, hold a manual B driving licence and, for musician candidates, provide evidence of ‘CEM/DEM’ level qualifications.
