The reckless driver was released on bail of 500,000 euros and is due to face a retrial
Kristina, the mother who had reached 190 km/h in the Principality on 1 March 2026, was released from prison last week. Her appeal hearing is scheduled for 29 June.
After spending more than three months in prison, she will appear in court as a free woman. Kristina, aged 39, will face an appeal hearing on Monday 29 June for the offences that led to her being sentenced to 24 months in prison, eight of which were to be served without parole, on 8 March, at the Monaco Criminal Court.
The mother had reached speeds of 190 km/h on the streets of the Principality whilst driving her Ferrari, with her 14-year-old daughter beside her. She eventually crashed in the Louis II tunnel.
The incident caused quite a stir. On Sunday 1 March, after lunch at the Hôtel de Paris, Kristina set off at the wheel of a Ferrari 296 GTB, accompanied by her daughter. She drove through the Louis-II tunnel for the first time at a speed of 140 km/h, well above the speed limit (50 km/h).
After slowing down, she suddenly accelerated near the Yacht Club, narrowly avoiding a kick scooter and then a motor scooter, before hurtling at full speed into the Louis-II tunnel and crashing into the safety barriers.
