This is the latest news: in 2027, the Monaco Grand Prix will host a Saturday Sprint race for the very first time.

Introduced in 2021 to inject new energy into the pinnacle of motorsport, this format allows the top eight drivers to score world championship points after a 100 km race.

Traditional qualifying sessions, which determine the starting grid for Sunday’s race, will remain on the Saturday schedule.
