Urgent measures to rescue the coral reefs through the promotion of ICRI in Monaco

The Monaco Ocean Week, which lasts until March 30, is an event designed to promote the International Coral Reef Initiative (ICRI: www.icriforum.org) in Australia and Indonesia by 2020.

The event, which attracted more than 50 participants, recalled the main objectives of the ICRI Action Plan 2018-2020, recently adopted by the Fourth United Nations Environment Assembly, including:

Preparation of recommendations for the member states of the Convention on Biological Diversity for a new target for the conservation of coral reefs from 2020. This meets the urgent need to take measures to rescue endangered reefs.
