The Monegasque runners held their own in the face of particularly harsh weather conditions.
Mont Ventoux once again provided a spectacular backdrop for the French Trail Running Championships, at the end of an intense and demanding weekend.
The runners had to contend with particularly harsh weather conditions: strong winds, low temperatures, and snowy sections added to the challenges of courses already known for their difficulty, putting the runners' bodies to the test.
Two formats were offered this year. The short trail, 30 km long with 1,400 meters of elevation gain, attracted nearly 1,400 participants.
The long trail, even more demanding at 50 km and 2,600 meters of elevation gain, brought together approximately 500 runners.
