On Wednesday 1 July 2026, less than 48 hours after the parcel bomb explosion that occurred on Monday in the Principality, the Monaco Public Prosecutor’s Office issued a further statement on the case and the ongoing investigation. Here is an update.

Less than 48 hours after the parcel bomb explosion on Monday 29 June in Monaco, near the Sun’s Palace, the Public Prosecutor’s Office has once again issued a statement on the case, in which an investigation into “attempted murder” has been launched. “The investigation is continuing at full speed with the support of the French authorities,” said the Attorney General, Stéphane Thibault.
